Regenerative therapy

Major surgeries such as back surgeries or joint replacements come with serious risks, limited success rates, and slow and painful recovery times. You might be fighting surgery, suffering from chronic pain, degenerative issues, or even sports injuries and feel you don't have another option. It may not seem that there are many alternatives, but we offer natural treatments such as regenerative therapy, which is available without the risks of surgery and long, difficult recovery periods.

Regenerative therapy can repair damaged tissue in the body as a result of disease, age, and degeneration. These treatments can potentially pinpoint damaged areas, remove swelling with powerful anti-inflammatory properties, and possibly heal these areas by regenerating new tissue and cells.

Patients that use regenerative therapy can potentially experience not only a decrease in pain, but also improvement in range of motion within weeks. The results patients have experienced are unbelievable, with many patients finding they only need one treatment!

This therapy is especially effective for common symptoms that we see in our chiropractic office:

  • Knee Injuries (MCL, ACL, PCL, LCL Sprains or Tears)
  • Arthritis/Osteoarthritis
  • Hip or Labral Tears
  • Shoulder Damage
  • Chronic Lower Back Pain
  • Wrist or Elbow
  • Achilles Tendon
  • Ankle Pain, Foot Pain
  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Plus Many More

Regenerative therapy is the perfect addition to the natural treatments we offer to our patients. If you're interested in learning more about this therapy, call our office at 954-472-7975 to schedule a consultation.

Regenerative Medicine FAQs

What are stem cells?

Stem cells are the basic building blocks of human tissue. They have the ability to repair, rebuild and rejuvenate tissues throughout the body. When disease or injury strikes, stem cells respond to specific signals and set out to facilitate the healing process by differentiating into specialized cells. These specialized cells then release healing growth factors in response to the distress cell signal in an injured or pathologic area of the body required for the body’s repair.

What type of tissue is utilized in regenerative medicine?

Our human cell and tissue products are derived from the Wharton’s Jelly, which is a component of the umbilical cords of healthy, full-term deliveries. Our products do not contain any embryonic or fetal tissue.

How are the tissue donors screened?

Comprehensive medical and social histories of the donors are obtained and reviewed. All tissues are procured, processed and tested in accordance with FDA requirements to minimize potential risks of disease transmission to recipients. Infectious disease testing is performed at a registered laboratory in accordance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA) and 42 CFR part 493.

How long does a regenerative therapy procedure take?

Depending upon the area being treated, a regenerative therapy procedure can be completed in a single office visit. Your doctor will be able to provide details specific to your treatment plan.

Does my age matter when I receive regenerative treatment?

Your age can play a factor in the outcome of your treatment. During your thorough consultation, our doctors, nurse practitioner, and support staff will be able to provide you with more specific information in regard to your treatment outcomes.

Does the regenerative therapy procedure hurt?

Regenerative therapy does not require any invasive procedures, resulting in less pain and a shorter procedure time. In most cases, the treatment consists of a single injection.

When will I begin to feel the benefits from regenerative therapy treatment?

Depending upon the severity of the injury, the area being treated, and your personal health history, recovery time can vary. Your doctor will be able to provide you with more information regarding your recovery timeline.
